Underground Locate and Stakeout Information

When doing home improvements such as fences, pools, landscaping, residents are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining the necessary utility locates for their property.

For information or to obtain locates, please contact the following:

Water, Sewer, Streetlights, Bell Canada, Rogers Cable, Enbridge and Hydro One

Call - Ontario One Call - 1-800-400-2255

The Guideline for the Co-ordination of Utility Relocation

The Ontario Underground Infrastructure Notification System Act requires any owner of buried infrastructure in the public right of way to register that infrastructure with Ontario One Call (ON1Call).

The service provided through ON1Call is free! Please call 1-800-400-2255 or submit online at on1call.com to ensure before you start any digging work on your property that locate forms are obtained from any and all of the underground utilities that may be on your property.

Know the colour codes! These colours may be used on the locate you receive. Knowing what they represent is important to interpreting your locate.
