Fire Department Annual Open House:

Join us on Saturday September 14th, 2019 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Station 5-1 (100 Weldon Road, Stouffville ON L4A 1N2) for our Annual Fire Department Open House! It will be a fun and educational day for the whole family! Meet members of the local fire department, enjoy bouncy castles, prizes, spraying the fire hose, truck tours and so much more! There are also two main events planned including the YRP vs Fire Department Truck Pull Challenge as well as a Live Burn Demonstration to see up close how sprinkler systems work! We hope to see you there!

Fire Prevention Week:

Fire Prevention Week 2019 runs this year from Sunday October 6th to Saturday October 12th! This years theme is "Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and practice your escape." You may see Fire Department staff educating throughout the community! Stop by to introduce yourself and ask any questions you may have!

Home Safe Home Program:

As part of our Home Safe Home Program, fire crews will be attending homes within the Municipality to check that smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed where required and that they are working. This program will be running until the end of September! If you wish to request a home inspection or have a question or concern about fire safety in your home, don't hesitate to contact us.

Halloween Event:

On Monday October 28th at Station 5-1 (100 Weldon Road, Stouffville ON L4A 1N2), we will be hosting our Annual Fire Department Halloween Event from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Friends and family are invited to join us to walk through our Halloween Haunted House (scary and not scary version) put together by Fire Department Staff. Meet Sparky the fire dog and show off your costumes! We hope to see you there!
