Town Lifts Fire Ban and Resumes Burn Permits

Effective immediately, the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville has lifted the Municipal wide burn ban.

All active burn permits are no longer suspended. Burn permits will continue to be issued upon request.

We urge residents to continue to use caution if they are burning and follow the regulatory By-Law (#2006-052-FR).

We want to thank residents for their co-operation while the burn ban was in effect.
