Holiday Waste Collection Reminders

Residents are advised that there are no collection schedule changes this year due the holidays.

Please remember to have all items curbside by 7:00 am. Extra trucks may be added resulting in earlier collection times.

Tips for a problem-free collection: Please do not place recyclables in plastic bags for collection. All plastic wrap and Styrofoam packaging should be placed in the garbage.

Christmas tree collection will be the week of January 10, 2022 on your regular collection day. Plastic bags and decorations must be removed and trees must be easily accessible for collection crews (please remove from snow banks). Please do not place trees curbside before the designated collection day.

The 2022 RECYCLING & WASTE COLLECTION CALENDAR will be mailed to all residential households within the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville in December. Please watch for this new calendar and keep it in a handy place for easy reference throughout the year!
