Summer camp will look a little different this year, because we've amped up the fun factor! Our camp staff have been hard at work creating exciting new programs for your children to experience. Outdoor Adventurers will head to Bruce's Mill to explore the great outdoors, Junior Lifeguards will get to experience what lifeguarding is all about or you can try one of our new camps offered in partnership with X-Movement! Take a look at the 2022 Summer Camp Guide to see what all the hype is about - we've got something for every camper! |
ILLNESS AT CAMP |
If a camper becomes ill while at camp, they will be isolated in a room away from the rest of their camp group. You will be contacted to pick up your camper, please make sure someone can pick up your child if you can't. |
WOULD YOUR CHILD BENEFIT FROM SUPPORT? |
We strongly believe that all residents should be able to enjoy recreation programs in our community. To ensure the success of your child in our programs, we encourage parents/guardians to communicate the needs of their child in prior to registration. Please provide us with any information that can help us prepare your child for a positive experience. Assistance may be available for children with a diagnosed disability or medical condition, severe food or environmental allergies or medication. In some cases, the Town is able to provide 1:1 inclusion support for participants who require additional assistance at school, home or in the community and they are currently associated with a support agency. One-on-one support opportunities are available when possible through the Play Buddies Program. To notify the Town of any needs your child may have, please indicate them upon registration. Alternatively, please contact Ashley Arruda at 905-642-7529 ext. 5235. |
