NEWS/EVENTS

FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

FPW runs from October 4-10 2020 and this years theme is "Serving up fire safety in the kitchen".
View our Cookbook that was developed in partnership with Tiny Seedlings Kid in the Kitchen Program. The cookbook includes recipes recommended by WSFES staff, TS kids recipes as well as important fire safety tips! Digital copies can be accessed here and there are limited hard copies available. If you are interested in a hard copy contact (905) 640-9595 (while quantities last).
Stay up to date on our Twitter and Facebook (@WSFES) for announcements throughout FPW!

ONLINE RESIDENT SURVEY

We have launched an online survey for residents to take the pledge to ensure that Stouffville is fire safe! We have partnered with Firehouse Subs in Stouffville who have provided giveaways for chosen families that complete the survey! You don’t want to miss out on this exciting opportunity! To enter we encourage families to tag us on social media @WSFES for the chance to win…it’s that easy! The survey is very quick and can be completed with all members of the family! The survey can be accessed at: https://townofws.formbuilder.ca/Fire-and-Emergency-Services/Online-Resident-Home-Fire-Safety-Questionnaire

SANITIZER

According to the NFPA & the OFM, hand sanitizer will not spontaneously combust or explode if left in a hot vehicle. Keep containers in an upright position, out of direct sunlight, and properly sealed to avoid leakage. Product label warnings should be carefully read and followed.
