12 Days of Cheer 2023

Stouffville presents a dozen days of festive family fun! This holiday season, the Town of Stouffville has curated a range of events and programs designed to delight the entire family, and we invite you to join in the holiday spirit. When participating in any of our 12 Days of Cheer, be sure to use the hashtag #12DaysWS so we can share in the celebration with you!




Our 12 Days of Cheer begins with Victorian Tea at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre. Enjoy a delicious taste of Christmas past, featuring a traditional catered tea and a festive tour of the Museum’s buildings. Limited tickets remaining for the 11:30 AM sitting. Event times 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Get ready to sparkle and shine as we Light Up the Village this holiday season! Stroll along Main Street sipping complimentary hot chocolate while mingling with festive characters, enjoying ice sculpture displays and enjoying musical performances. Tree lighting in Civic Square at 6:30 p.m. Event time: 5-9:00 p.m.

Celebrate the holidays with our largest winter event of the season! Both days of the event will feature a local artisan vendor marketplace, magical lighting displays, food and beverage, horse drawn carriage rides, Santa Claus and other holiday characters and more. Saturday night headliner is Tyler Shaw.

Every year, Latcham Art Centre holds a juried show and sale of handcrafted work by artisans from across Ontario and draws customers from all over the GTA. Taking place annually at 19 on the Park, Beyond Craft is a fundraiser in support of the Art Centre’s programming. Event time: 10-4:00 p.m.                                           

Johnny Max, 2 time JUNO Award nominee, and Chuck Jackson, multiple JUNO Award winner, sing some of your favourite Christmas songs with a blues and roots tinge. Event time: 7:30 p.m.


Santa is coming to Whitchurch-Stouffville!  Join us and celebrate the season as a cavalcade of lights, floats, bands and more will make its way down our Historic Downtown Main Street, to the delight of families of all ages. Event time: 6:00 p.m.

December 3 - Free Public Swim

On Sunday, Dec. 3, enjoy some FREE time in the pool at the WS Leisure Centre this holiday season!  The slide is open during this all-ages swim and water toys can be used in the pool. Event time: 1:45 -3:15 p.m.

December 7 - Holiday Trivia Night

Grab some friends and all the holiday knowledge you've acquired over the years and join us for a holiday edition of Trivia Night at 19 on the Park. This is a 19+ event. Event time: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.


Santa is making a special appearance at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre, and we're excited to invite you to a day filled with festive family fun! Event time: 12 - 4:00 p.m.                              

A FREE opportunity for skaters of all ages and abilities to practice casual skating skills and participate with family and friends. This Sunday event is happening at Stouffville Clippers Sports Complex, Pad 2. Event time: 6:15 -8:15 p.m.

An in-person evening holiday themed storytime which includes books, rhymes, songs, puppets, and more. Come wearing your PJs and enjoy some family time before bed! Afterwards, stay for a free craft. Event time: 7:00 p.m.
