Summer Heat Warning

Town Encourages Residents to Use Leisure Centre as Cooling Station During Extreme Heat

With the recent hot and humid weather, the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville reminds residents that air-conditioned facilities as well as splash pads at select parks are available to help keep you cool. 

Environment Canada has issued a Heat Warning for York Region and it is expected to continue throughout the weekend. Environment Canada says that humidex values in the mid-40s are likely this weekend.
