Road Closures
Occasionally highways, roads and neighborhood streets are closed for events, construction or other reasons. Notices of these closures will be posted on this page.
Roads can be closed by either Stouffville, York Region or the Province of Ontario.
Weather permitting, Hoover Park Drive from Ken Laushway Avenue to Ninth Line will be closed on June 6, 2026 from 1 AM to 6 PM. Construction includes Metrolinx railway track panel replacement and road paving.
June 21: Stouffville 5K Closure
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the following streets will be closed for the Main Street 5K event from 6 AM to 12 PM: Burkholder Street from Park Drive to Franklin Street, Park Drive from north of the Leisure Centre south entrance to Main Street and Main Street from Park Drive to Mostar Street.
Beginning on Friday, May 1st, 2026 Burkholder Street between Park Drive and the Leisure Centre Driveway (2 Park Dr) will be closed every weekend. The closure will be in effect every Friday from 3:30 p.m. to Monday at 8:00 a.m. (Tuesday of a long weekend) until Monday, September 28th.
Winona Drive is currently closed at Main Street due to road reconstruction. Please use the detour via Rupert Avenue to access Winona Drive, as shown below.
