Road Closures
Occasionally highways, roads and neighborhood streets are closed for events, construction or other reasons. Notices of these closures will be posted on this page.
Roads can be closed by either Stouffville, York Region or the Province of Ontario.
May 15: Victoria Day Closure
Beginning at 6 AM on Friday, May 15th, 2026, Park Drive from Burkholder Street to the north entrance of the Leisure Centre will be closed for Victoria Day fireworks until noon on Saturday, May 16th, 2026.
June 21: Stouffville 5K Closure
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the following streets will be closed for the Main Street 5K event from 6 AM to 12 PM: Burkholder Street from Park Drive to Franklin Street, Park Drive from north of the Leisure Centre south entrance to Main Street and Main Street from Park Drive to Mostar Street.
Beginning on Friday, May 1st, 2026 Burkholder Street between Park Drive and the Leisure Centre Driveway (2 Park Dr) will be closed every weekend. The closure will be in effect every Friday from 3:30 p.m. to Monday at 8:00 a.m. (Tuesday of a long weekend) until Monday, September 28th.
Northbound right-turn lane on McCowan Road and eastbound right lane on Stouffville Road are closed at McCowan Road and Stouffville Road for emergency watermain repairs.
Winona Drive is currently closed at Main Street due to road reconstruction. Please use the detour via Rupert Avenue to access Winona Drive, as shown below.
