Community Applications

Community group application

The Town promotes and recognizes that Community Groups provide recreational, sport, heritage and leisure programs, events and services to Town residents on a volunteer, charitable or not-for-profit basis. The Town encourages active living, social and special interest activities that enhance the well-being, health and quality of life to residents.

Community flag raising

In accordance with the Town’s Municipal Flag Policy, any organization or community group that meets the criteria may complete a flag raising request form to request a flag raising at the Town’s community flagpole, located at the Leisure Centre (2 Park Drive). Applications should be submitted a minimum of one month in advance of the first date that the flag is being requested to fly.

Further details and guidelines are provided in the request form and policy.
