Town of Stouffville Welcomes Jack Graziosi as Director of Public Works

The Town of Stouffville is pleased to announce the hiring of Jack Graziosi as the new Director of Public Works.

Coupled with a Master of Engineering degree, Graziosi brings over two decades of municipal experience leading large-scale capital infrastructure projects and demonstrating expertise in effective service delivery and project management.

Graziosi joins Stouffville from the City of Vaughan, where he served as the Director of Engineering Services from 2009 to 2015, and Director of Infrastructure Delivery from 2015 onwards.  Prior to that, Graziosi fulfilled progressive roles at the City of Toronto.

As the Director of Public Works, Graziosi will play a pivotal role in leading important capital infrastructure projects, including Lloyd and Edward Street improvements and Main Street revitalization.  His extensive experience and proven track record will be invaluable in guiding these initiatives and ensuring their success.

"We are excited to welcome Jack Graziosi as our new Director of Public Works," said Sunny Bains, Chief Administrative Officer at the Town of Stouffville. "His extensive experience and exceptional leadership qualities make him the ideal candidate to lead our Public Works department and oversee essential infrastructure projects and deliver key services for our residents and businesses."

Mayor Iain Lovatt also expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, "Jack Graziosi's impressive accomplishments and dedication to excellence aligns perfectly with our vision for Stouffville's future. Council looks forward to working closely with Mr. Graziosi to ensure Stouffville continues to thrive as a vibrant community."

Mr. Graziosi's diverse background in water, wastewater, and stormwater operations, coupled with his extensive experience in delivering capital infrastructure projects, positions him well to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Graziosi assumes the role of Director of Public Works following the resignation of Brian Kavanagh.  The Town of Stouffville is confident that Mr. Graziosi's extensive experience and proven capabilities will contribute significantly to the Town's ongoing infrastructure development and overall progress.

Graziosi's first day will be July 13th.
