Construction Notice: Ministry of Transportation Rehabilitation of Highway 404
The purpose of this project is to restore the ride quality of the pavement, rehabilitate Bloomington and CNR bridges, and decrease ongoing maintenance demands. The construction activities will be during the day and night to complete the project. The duration of construction will be approximately from May 2024 to the Fall of 2026.

This Notice is to advise that in accordance with Section 41 of Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O 1990, Chapter O.18 the Council of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville at its meeting on June 5th, 2024 has made the decision to: Pass By-laws 2024-068-DS, 2024-069-DS, and 2024-070-DS To designate Heritage Conservation Districts.
Temporary Closure of Town Pool at Leisure Centre on June 8
Due to an unexpected issue large pool at the Leisure Centre, the facility will be closed for the remainder of the day. The therapy pool remains open.

Leisure Centre Service Interruption Resolved
The Leisure Centre (2 Park Drive) is currently experiencing a power outage. As a result, the facility is closed, and all programming is cancelled until power is restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve the issue.
