Emergency Preparedness Week May 7 -13
If there was a severe weather event today that resulted in loss of power, flooding and you being unable to leave your home for 2 days, would you be prepared? The Town of Stouffville recognizes May 7-13, 2023 as Emergency Preparedness Week. This week is an opportunity to increase awareness and remind residents how to be better prepared for an emergency.
Stouffville celebrates the Coronation of His Majesty the King and The Queen Consort
On May 6, 2023, the Town of Stouffville will celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort by illuminating our historic clock tower on Main St. in an emerald hue from sunset to midnight local time on both May 6 and May 7.
Town Of Stouffville Unveils Two Playgrounds In Memorial Park
The Town of Stouffville was pleased to celebrate the unveiling of two new playgrounds in Stouffville's largest park, Memorial Park, this afternoon. The new playgrounds which provide a safe and inclusive play space for children of all abilities, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the benefits of play.

Suspected cases of Avian Flu found in Geese locally
With geese starting to return to the community, many York Region municipalities including Stouffville are seeing cases of birds that have died or are infected with presumed avian influenza (H5N1), also known as bird flu. The Town of Stouffville’s Animal Services team has responded to reports of geese in distress at multiple locations.
Easter Holiday Hours
Town facilities will have modified hours over the Easter Holidays, including Town Hall, Leisure Centre, Fitness Centre, WS Public Library, Stouffville Arena, Clippers Arena, 19 On The Park, Museum, and 55+ Club.
