Filming Notice: Road Closures & Intermittent Traffic Control

September 9: Intermittent traffic control on Norbett Drive 5 PM to 11 PM

September 10: Road closures on Vandorf Sideroad from Leslie Street to Warden Avenue and Woodbine Avenue from Bloomington Road to Aurora Road.

What You Can Expect

A filming project is scheduled to take place in Stouffville from Wednesday, September 9 to Friday, September 11, 2026. Filming activities will result in temporary traffic impacts and road closures to safely accommodate production vehicles, equipment and filming activities.

On Wednesday, September 9, intermittent traffic control will take place on Norbett Drive while drone and picture-car filming is underway. Traffic may be temporarily stopped for short periods under the supervision of York Regional Police. Filming at this location is scheduled between 7 AM and 11 PM

On Thursday, September 10, Vandorf Sideroad between Leslie Street and Warden Avenue and Woodbine Avenue between Bloomington Road and Aurora Road will be closed to accommodate filming. Filming is scheduled from approximately 9 PM on September 10 to 5 AM on September 11.

Additional intermittent traffic control is scheduled on Woodbine Avenue between 14455 Woodbine Avenue and 14537 Woodbine Avenue from 10 AM to 2 PM on September 9 and 11.

Detours

During the Vandorf Sideroad closure, traffic will be detoured via Aurora Road. During the Woodbine Avenue closure, traffic will be detoured via Warden Avenue. Motorists are asked to follow all posted detour signage.
