Town Offers Worry-free Parking this Holiday Season
Celebrate the holiday season worry-free in the Town of Stouffville as winter parking restrictions are lifted from December 22 to January 2. Residents and visitors can park overnight on town streets without requiring permits during this festive period.

The Town of Stouffville is proud to announce its recognition as one of Canada's most livable cities. In a ranking developed by the Globe and Mail, Whitchurch-Stouffville was named the 79th “most livable city” in Canada, representing the 18th highest Ontario community and the 3rd most desirable place to live in York Region.

Spreading Holiday Cheer: Linda Mainprize Toys for Tickets Program returns along with Food & Toy Drive
Stouffville’s Linda Mainprize Toys for Tickets program has returned, allowing residents to donate toys and gifts in lieu of paying a parking ticket. This program is in conjunction with the Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services Department collecting donations for the Whitchurch-Stouffville Food Bank and supporting the Stouffville Lions Club Toy Drive as one of their recognized drop-off locations.
Notice of Pavement Marking at Town Roundabouts
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville has awarded the contract for Pavement Marking at Town Roundabouts to McGuinness Coatings Ltd. The work consists of refreshing yield line markings and extending the centre and edge line markings.

Town Of Stouffville Granted "Strong Mayor Powers"
On August 21, the Province revealed that Stouffville, along with 20 other municipalities in Ontario, would be granted ‘strong mayor powers.’ These powers came into effect yesterday. This change was introduced in alignment with the Province’s core focus and pledge to boost housing availability by 1.5 million new homes by 2031.
Enbridge Gas Teams Up With Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services To Reduce Fire And Carbon Monoxide Deaths Through Safe Community Project Zero
Enbridge Gas Inc. (Enbridge Gas) and Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services (WSFES) announced they are working together to improve home safety and to bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero. WSFES received 288 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms through Safe Community Project Zero–a public education campaign with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) that will provide more than 10,000 alarms to residents in 50 municipalities across Ontario.
