Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services Receives National Recognition for Home Fire Sprinkler Advocacy
Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services has been awarded the 2025 Bringing Safety Home Award by the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition and NFPA for its leadership in promoting home fire sprinkler use. The department’s efforts, in partnership with Town staff and developers, have led to six residential subdivisions being protected, contributing to a safer and more resilient community.
Town of Stouffville Unveils New Neighbourhood Park
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville officially opened Sugar Maple Park at 401 Baker Hill Boulevard today. Featuring inclusive play areas, sports courts, and scenic green space, the park was designed with community input and accessibility in mind.
Notice of Adoption and Passing of By-laws Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment
On June 4, 2025, Whitchurch-Stouffville Council adopted Official Plan Amendment 169 and passed Zoning By-laws 2025-044-OP and 2025-045-ZO for 15400 Highway 48. The amendments redesignate the lands from Institutional to Commercial/Mixed-Use under the Ballantrae-Musselman Lake Secondary Plan and rezone them accordingly.
Notice of GO Transit Service Changes – Stouffville Line
GO Transit service on the Stouffville line will be temporarily adjusted from July 4 to 6, 2025, to support construction of the East Harbour Transit Hub. GO buses will replace trains between Union Station and Unionville GO, with no service at Milliken, Agincourt, and Kennedy GO stations.
Notice of Public Meeting - Musselman's Lake Community: Ninth Line Visioning Public Open House #1
The Town of Stouffville and York Region are hosting a Public Open House on June 26, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Ballantrae Community Centre to share details about the Ninth Line Transportation Study. Residents are invited to attend, ask questions, and provide input.

As part of Edward Street reconstruction, water service will be temporarily shut off from Sunday, June 22 at 9:00 p.m. to Monday, June 23 at 6:00 a.m. Residents and businesses are advised to prepare by storing water in advance and taking precautions to prevent flooding.

Scam Alert: Fraudulent Calls Claiming to Be from Stouffville Firefighters
The Town of Stouffville has been made aware of a recent phone scam targeting residents in our community. Individuals have reported receiving calls from someone falsely claiming to be a Town of Stouffville firefighter and asking for donations.
Notice of Construction, Stouffville Groundwater Supply System
York Region is building Stouffville Production Well 7 at 12519 Tenth Line to support the local groundwater system and improve flexibility. Construction runs June to November 2025, weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with no service impacts but some traffic, noise, and dust expected.
