December 29 Power Outage at some Town facilitites

Power has been restored as of 12 pm December 29,2025 

An area-wide power outage in Stouffville is currently impacting the following Town facilities:

  • Leisure Centre
  • 9th Line Arena
  • 19 on the Park (19OTP)
  • 6240 Main Street
  • Latcham Hall
  • Skating Trail

The outage has been reported to Hydro One, and a crew has been dispatched. At this time, there is no estimated restoration time, as conditions in the area are still being assessed following recent weather.

As a result, some programs and services at these locations may be temporarily disrupted. Any affected programs or scheduled groups will be contacted directly, and signage will be posted at the main entrances. 

Skating Trail Update
The skating trail is scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m.; however, there may be some delays. Signage will remain posted at all trail access points until opening.
