What are the Proposed Changes?

The proposed site-specific Agricultural Zone (AG(X)) seeks to add:

Additional Permitted Uses:

To permit a farm Produce Sales Outlet with a Gross Floor Area of 750 square meters, which would operate on a year-round basis and permit the sale of fruit/vegetables grown both on and off the farm property
Classrooms to be included as an accessory use to the Farm Operation
Four (4) accessory farm dwelling units for the purposes of housing farm employees

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville before the proposed zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
