Notice of Construction, Stouffville Groundwater Supply System
York Region is building and upgrading our water and wastewater infrastructure to provide safe, cost-efficient and reliable water and wastewater services to the Region’s residents, businesses and communities.
Description
- Construction of a new municipal supply well, Stouffville Production Well 7, at 12519 Tenth Line, in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville
- New municipal supply well will provide flexibility for the Stouffville groundwater supply system
Duration
- June to November 2025
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Impacts
- Access to all homes will be maintained
- No impact to water or wastewater services is expected
- Due to the nature of the work, there will be increased construction-related traffic, noise and dust from equipment; every effort to minimize this will be made
As with all construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other conditions. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
