Notice: Zoning and Urban Design Open House #1
‘Medium and High-Density Parking Standards’ and ‘Expanding Missing Middle Housing’
About the Project:
The Town of Stouffville is updating its Town-Wide Comprehensive Zoning By-law and Urban Design Guidelines as part of our ReZone + ReDesign community engagement strategy, and our urban planners want your input! The first part of this project will be completing two Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) initiatives to help increase housing options:
- Parking Standards for Medium & High-Density Housing: Reviewing parking requirements for medium and high-density.
- Expanding Missing Middle Housing: Looking at where up to four units per property could be allowed and exploring how to provide more housing choices like multiplexes, low-rise apartments and other multi-unit options.
Staff will also be available at the open house to talk about the full zoning and design project and listen to any feedback you would like to share.
