Stouffville Rallies Behind the Blue Jays as Canada Heads to the World Series

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is proudly raising the Toronto Blue Jays flag for the duration of the series at the Community Flag Pole, located by the Leisure Centre at 2 Park Drive, in celebration of Canada’s return to the World Series.

As excitement builds across the country, the Town is encouraging residents to come together in support of the Blue Jays while also showing pride in the local business community. With Small Business Week still underway, residents are invited to cheer on the Jays at one of Stouffville’s many restaurants and pubs - the perfect opportunity to celebrate community spirit while supporting local.

“We’ve heard the enthusiasm around the idea of a community watch party, and we’re thrilled to see so many residents eager to celebrate together,” said Sunny Bains, Chief Administrative Officer. “While we continue to explore options to bring fans together in the future, we encourage everyone to gather with friends and neighbours at one of our incredible local establishments to enjoy the games.”

Residents are also encouraged to stay tuned to the Town’s social media channels for upcoming contests, including chances to win Toronto Blue Jays merchandise and gift cards to local businesses.

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville congratulates the Toronto Blue Jays on reaching the World Series and looks forward to joining fans across Canada in celebrating this exciting moment.
