Scam Alert: Fraudulent Calls Claiming to Be from Stouffville Firefighters
The Town of Stouffville has been made aware of a recent phone scam targeting residents in our community. Individuals have reported receiving calls from someone falsely claiming to be a Town of Stouffville firefighter and asking for donations.
Notice of Construction, Stouffville Groundwater Supply System
York Region is building Stouffville Production Well 7 at 12519 Tenth Line to support the local groundwater system and improve flexibility. Construction runs June to November 2025, weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with no service impacts but some traffic, noise, and dust expected.
Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting ZBA25.005
A Zoning By-law Amendment application has been submitted to permit a Place of Worship at 27 Winona Drive. A Public Meeting will be held on June 18, 2025, at 7 PM in Council Chambers to consider the proposal. Residents may attend in person or electronically to provide input.
Construction Notice: Ken Betz Court to Madori Park Pedestrian Bridge & Trail
Construction of a new pedestrian bridge and trail connection between Ken Betz Court and Madori Park will begin July 2, 2025. The project, awarded to Hawkins Contracting Services, includes archaeological assessment, pathway construction, and the installation of a prefabricated bridge.
Notice: Temporary Lighting Outage Clippers Complex Arena Parking Lot
The parking lot lights at the Clippers Complex Arena lot are currently not operational due to unforeseen circumstances and will remain unlit for approximately one week.
Temporary Basketball Court Closure for Strawberry Festival
The Leisure Centre's outdoor basketball courts will be temporarily unavailable while in use for the Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 28th 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

New Public Mural Coming to Downtown Stouffville
A vibrant new mural is underway in Downtown Stouffville, celebrating our community’s deep roots, diverse cultures, and shared future through bold imagery and the symbolic Tree of Life. Created by local artist and educator Colin Whitebread, the piece invites reflection on unity, heritage, and connection. To ensure safety during the mural's creation, Church Street (southbound from Main to Commercial) will be closed from May 28 to July 4.
