Memorial Park Multi-Purpose Trail opening May 1

The new 275-metre multi-purpose trail at Memorial Park officially opens May 1! Located west of the Leisure Centre and Public Library, this inclusive trail offers a safe, welcoming space for residents of all ages and abilities to enjoy year-round.

The paved loop is perfect for walking, rollerblading, scootering and enjoying the outdoors in the warmer months. In winter, it transforms into a refrigerated skating trail – providing free seasonal fun for the whole community.

This project was made possible through funding from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) and includes fully accessible washrooms, changerooms and storage for ice maintenance equipment, creating a true all-season recreational hub.
