55+ Club

The Town Stouffville offers a variety of recreation programs for older adults at our 55+ Club located at 6240 Main St., Stouffville. Programs include:

  • Active aging and fitness
  • Book clubs
  • Card and board games
  • Cooking workshops
  • Craft and art workshops
  • Health and wellness classes

Explore all the we offer and register online, or learn how to become a club member for free to enjoy reduced program prices and other benefits. We also offer a variety of free drop-in activities for club members.

Become a member

To sign up for a free 55+ Club membership, please call us at 905-642-7529. You can also drop by the front desk at the 55+ Club, located at 6240 Main St., or at the Leisure Centre, located at 2 Park Dr., between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

A membership gives you access to:

  • Community lunches
  • Drop-in programs
  • Lounge and club amenities
  • Priority status for seminars and trips
  • Reduced fees for registered programs

Drop-in programs

You need to be a member of the 55+ Club to participate in drop-in programs, including:

  • Billiards, snooker and table tennis
  • Colouring circle
  • Painting
  • Canasta and hand and foot
  • Duplicate bridge and contract bridge
  • Bid euchre
  • Camera club
  • Knitting circle
  • Mahjong

COVID-19 regulations

While masks and face coverings are no longer mandated by Public Health, we encourage those who feel more comfortable wearing a mask in public settings to continue to do so.

We also encourage you to self-screen for symptoms before coming in, and to stay home if you are sick.
