Community Medicine Garden

The Community Medicine Garden at the Jean-Baptiste Lainé Site has completed its 2025 growing season. With the care of dedicated volunteers and guidance from the Odeiwin Foundation, the garden was successfully planted, tended, and harvested, deepening connections to the land, traditional teachings, and one another.

Located along the trail just south of Lost Pond Crescent, the garden brings Indigenous medicine plants and knowledge into a shared community space, fostering learning, wellness, and respect for the land.

As we move into the colder months, the garden will rest. We look forward to reconnecting in spring 2026, when volunteers will come together again to prepare the soil and begin a new growing season.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, care, and curiosity during the 2025 season. Your involvement helped this garden grow into a meaningful place of learning and connection.
